Burton Blunt any good? - Snowboarding Forum

I just got a 2009 Burton Blunt 151. it only my second board just wondering if it is any good?

Not too sure about the board bu don't you think it would have been a good idea to ask before buying it?

it won the good wood award and is considered one of the best valued park boards so I assume it is pretty good...

Of course, that all depends on what you want to do with it

Awesome beginner board at an awesome price. TONS of tech for the money.

Few things.

Friend has one, not a bad board at all. You said the 09 model (looks like a notebook on the top), which doesn't have the rocker. The 2010's are more advanced but the 09's are still a good price.

Cons:

Not that fast of a base but will do the job.
Is a bit heavy compared to Burtons higher end boards.

Pros:

Forgiving flex
Pro tips just like the higher end park boards (low swing weight at the ends)
Twin shape, twin flex.
good price.

You bought it, ride it!

Edit: Btw, what was the first board you had? This may be a major upgrade for you.

My last board was a airwlk backdraft 150. piece of junk.
