2010 Burton Custom - When should I buy? - Snowboarding Forum

Hey guys,

I am looking at getting a 2010 Burton Custom 148 at the best price. It's currently discounted at 20% on most sites so it's around $450. I am on the East Coast and the boarding season is dwindling down. I am not in a rush so I was wondering when would be the best time to buy the Custom and how low do you think the price will go?

2014. it will be hella cheap by then and there will still be one million available.

I'd wait just a bit. I bought a 156 2010 Custom for $385.. So if you want to save $65 dollars and put it toward something else, I'd say it's worth it.

i would wait til at least spring time...you will find a lot of places selling everything for at least 30% off

I bought it off o2gear.com .. It was a daily deal or something. But now they set their prices to 500$, so just look around weekly.

Oh I bought it about 3 weeks ago.

My local shop (Whitby Ontario) has everything including Burton Customs at 50% off. website is Scotties Skies .

Not sure if they ship, but 50% off is pretty sweet.

with something as popular as a buron custom you can wait a while. if you dont care about riding it this season you could probably wait until the season is over and pick one up around 40-50% off.
