Sorry for posting so much, but I'm getting into crunch time. I found an amazing deal on one board I was looking for and one board that I hadn't thought about but looks intriguing.
Dark Series: Retail $669, price I found $499 length 161 flex 7.5 stance 1/2 inch back Mark Landvik's Phoenix BTX: Retail $539, price I found $404.25 length 160 flex 7 stance even OR, am I still getting better value from a Never Summer Heritage-R (RC is just like C2, and came before) at $519 with no discount? length 160 flex 6 stance? I am looking for an all mountain board that is more on the freeride side. The only difference is that Dark Series is a combo of camber and reverse camber, whereas Lando's board is just reverse. Considering Lando is a freestyle/freeride back country guy, would I be getting the same in the Lando board as the Dark series? I live in the Northeast. |

word is that the 2010 lando has a subtle version of C2. Maybe they considered it to be too subtle to be called C2 ...or, for whatever reason, maybe lib want people to think lando is on first gen btx...even though he isn't

Eh, I just bit the bullet and bought the Dark Series anyhow. I got tired of obsessing over it, and have read enough about it to have an idea that I would like it. Plus at $500, I really am getting a hell of a deal, because my size will probably be sold out by the time end of season sales roll around. However, I am strongly considering waiting until end of March to buy the bindings.
