Like many other threads here, I'm a new rider looking to buy my own equipment. This is my first season and I started about midway through the season and have gone 5 times. Unfortunately, I live in a bad location for snowboarding regularly but I do plan to go 10-12 times a season, with half of those times somewhere like Colorado, making it worth it to invest in a decent board.
Weight: 170lbs Boot size: 11 Riding style: All-mountain/freeride Age:24 budget: $400-500 for complete setup Your location of riding: Iowa ![]() I've been looking mainly at two boards right now because of their price and what I've read on this forum: Sierra Team Sierra Crew From what I understand, the Crew might be a better choice because the Team board is more of a park board, but correct me if I'm wrong. I'm going to buy the boots local or at least fit them local so that will get taken care of. I'm not sure about bindings though, I was looking at the Ride EX bindings but am totally open to opinions. So, I'm looking for advice to see if I'm on the right track for a beginner board or if I should be looking elsewhere. I do want something in the next week or so to take advantage of the last part of the season. |
