So I got the following K2 format snowboard (158cm long) and Cobra V1 bindings for dirt cheap today.
Men, K2 Format Snowboard ? Men's Buckmans Ski & Snowboard Shop - Burton Snowboards, Spyder, Kjus Jackets, K2 skis (see the 158 cm version) RossignolSNOWBOARD » BINDINGS » MEN'S TRADITIONAL » COBRA V1 But no matter how cheap I got these for, I will return them if they are a complete mistake. I plan on learning this year and next year by taking lessons. I plan on starting with just basic mountain riding. Eventually, I may try and learn some small jumps, etc, but I am going to be fairly risk averse. I am not going to be doing flips. I am 5'10 and about 195lbs. If my memory is correct, the board indicated that it was rated for up to 210lbs. It comes up to just between my nose and chin. Let me know if there is any information that you need from the board itself. Last edited by blackrain; 02-17-2010 at 04:13 PM. |

The board is a great all mountain board and is best suited for new/intermediate riders, so you'll defenitly be able progress on it. I've never actually ridden or known anyone riding rossignol bindings but from what I see they look fairly good. I have ridden Rossignol boards and have to say that they are a cery underrated and reliable company.
