Hey guys. I've only been boarding a few times, but I'm buying my own equipment and I'm pumped. I just don't know what to buy. I'll explain what I wanna do exactly.
I really don't ever care about getting to the point of halfpipes or rails or anything. Maybe just a few ollies and grabs, etc. I'm 5'10" 148 lbs. I know I gotta wear 8.5 boots. I know I need medium bindings also. Here's some that I could choose between... Sims Burton Lamar LTD 5150 Salomon Rossignol Technine Just wanted to know thoughts/opinions on the boards and what I want to do with them. Also bindings too. What would be the best bindings/boots? Thanks in advance, so much to choose from! |

I'd recommend buying a board around the sizes of 154-159. Of that list above, I suggest staying away from Lamar, 5150, LTD, and Sims. Those are companies more geared towards cheap intro products. Burton makes good boots, bindings, and boards. Salomon makes some good boards. Rossignol is a good board company for all mountain riding. Technine makes good boards, but they are more for the park also stay away from Technine bindings, they just aren't that great.
