Hey everyone, I only get to snowboard a few times a year but I have decided it makes more sense to buy a board rather than continue to rent boards. I do not know what size of boards I have rented in the past. I have snowboarded in Colorado and Montana and a small place in Indiana throughout past couple years. I am 5'9" and weigh 160lbs and have a size 9.5 foot. What size board and bindings do I need? Would you all recommend a package deal? Just need some direction to get me started. I will actually be heading to Breckenridge Thursday if anyone has advice of places to go look at stuff.. Thanks ahead of time.

Welcome!
According to your weight and height you should probably go with something in the 156-159 range. Also, for binding you are fine with medium( mens 8-10) if you are going with a 9.5 boot, but boot and shoe size are different. I would recommend you try some different boots before buying just to find a feel. Packages around this time are a really good deal. You can look around your local shops or you could go online. A good online store is sierrasnowboard.com. You will be able to find really good deals for really good equipment. Good luck, bud!
