How do I know wich board is the best for me???

Hi everyone...I'm new here and I think you all are really nice on answering all the questions that we all newbies have.
My question is....which type of board do I need? I'm 5.5 (1.67cm) and I weight 200lbs....I know I'm big, and that's why I'm asking... can I find a good board for me, or will I have to buy a men's board?
I also need to know which bindings are good, my shoe size is between 8 and 8.5
I'm new on snowboarding and have no training what so ever...

Thanks and greetings from Chile :)

I'd say high 150's min..like 158-162ish for a good starting board.

Ive ridden a 157 board at 5'6 and it felt fine...

I watch the size charting and it recomends a 152 board.....so I'm a little confused, do I go for a 152...or for a 155...??? I'm a little afraid that if a buy a bigger board will bw to stiff for me, since I'm a begginer

You can find women's boards in the mid to high 150's range, you'll just have to do some research. I think you'd also be fine on a men's all-mountain freestyle deck.

Some women's boards to check out:
Never Summer Infinity-r 156
Gnu B-pro 155
Roxy Eminence 155
K2 Eco-pop 155
Burton Troop 157
Rome Vinyl 155

My pick of the boards above would be the Infinity.

Edit: a 152 is very short for your weight. I would go longer....

thanks... yeah I thought that a 152 would be to short...so I decided on a 155 or more....I'll check the models you put
:)
