Looking to pick up the Machete - Snowboarding Forum

Looking to spring for a new board and i'm leaning towards the Ride Machete...you think I should go out and grab it now or wait for the 2011 model. Any news on the details of the new model and when its coming out? Appreciate any info..

if u find the machete for a good price id say buy it, or just buy it even if it isnt. i got it a month ago or so, and its awesomeeee
great for park, buttering,handles jumps great, rides well switch , quite stable at high speeds...yeah. easy to press with.

works good in pow too, and have barely got any scratches on the base, and iv threated it a bit rougyh i would say, so im a bit suprised it has held up so well this far.
at least it fits good with me, at least im sure u wont be disappointed

thanks for the info and the preview. Def going to get the board just was wondering if I should hold off for the newer model. Any recommendations on what bindings I should pair it with? Was thinking about some unions or ride's deltas or even the contrabands...any thoughts?

my buddy just got the 2010 machete and Ride Contraband bindings for a little over 400 haha he loves it maybe a bit too much haha

Cheapest I could find. Sick ass board. Get it now because that's an awesome price. Nothing is different in the 2011 board except for the graphics.

Machete went nice with the Deltas. Although the 2011 Deltas that I rode on the Machete had a new design. The highbacks have changed significantly.
