Was finally able to find the all illusive NS slr on sale and bought what seems to be about the highest rated board from this season. NS must be making a killing from this forum since I bought the slr just based on everything I read here. Anyways if anyone is looking to pick one up, check out modernskate. they have some other ns boards on there as well

I also bought one mostly because I read about it on this forum. Did my own competitor analysis and determined it to still be the best fit. Actually I bought the EVO-r because it was 30% off and I like to play on the way down the hill. Called NS and they explained how the 2 boards are VERY similar. The bending is slightly different but that's about it.
Anyway, seems like an awesome board, awesome company and it supports our own troubled ecoonomy. NeverSummer gets thumbsup: |

I actually almost went the other way in terms of flex and bought a premier except I couldn't find the right size at a price I could afford. I'm on an old Destroyer right now so I wanted something that would handle some steeps better. I was concerned that the slr may have been a little too soft but like I said before, this site nothing but praised the board in all aspects.
