i held back on the snark and tried to post a serious response:

i realize you want a new board. we all do. but at least you have one!

what is you current set up and explain why you have outgrown it..

there might be someone out there that will donate old gear to you, or maybe even money but i doubt it. in the meantime, while waiting for charity why dont you try to push yourself further on the board you have. try new terrain, try perfecting your form, style or even try going faster.

but lol at the mom comments...fucked up guys.

How are you paying the internet bill if there's no money coming in? Are you using welfare to pay for that?

Things in life don't come free kiddo, get a job, get a life, then worry about snowboarding.

Edit: From your other post that I just found...

I am a snowboarder who has outgrown his first snowboard and is in need of a new one. I have 3 jobs and still cannot afford one... My parents are paying my medical bills as i have had 2 knee surgerys...
So let me get this straight, your parents (or mom) is paying your medical bills but she doesn't work? Where is all you're money going from the 3 jobs then? Sounds like you live at home but if they are paying your bills you should be able to save up money by now. Quit trying to scam people, no one is stupid enough to send you money. :cheeky4:

Sorry

My mom does not have a job because she takes care of my dying grandma. and the three jobs i work are helping put my sister through medical school and i am not scamming. all i am asking for is a little generocity to help me get through my depression of losing my dog, my grandpa, my 2 knee surgeries, my girlfriend leaving me etc... I only ask for 1 dollar from anyone who would like to. I am not demanding it just asking for a little sympathy.

Seriously this is turning into a sob story. I know you want a new board, and you can't afford one now. But look at it this way. When you're younger sister finally graduates from her med school and becomes an actual working citizen, maybe she can fork over some cash for your board. Just wait it out big guy :) And as for your girlfriend leaving you, well that's completely your fault.

Okay say you get the new board, you still need boots and bindings. Even if you still have those from your old board there are still lift costs which is $30-$60 a day.

When times are tough for me financially, I cut out the "wants and nice to haves" and focus on the "needs" and also figure out how I can earn the extra money to get me back in a strong financial situation. One thing I do is look at the junk I have around that I don't use anymore but is of value. I always do a weekly "house cleaning" and sell of what I don't use and the money from that is what I use to have fun with.

Just seems like if this is your for real situation and not someone trying to make up a sob story to get money (aka scam which I'm betting it is a scam) then you really need to take a step back and look at whats really important.

Hell I really want a lot of things that I can't afford but I don't go making threads asking for money just cause. It's kind of rude, IMO.

It would appear that the interweb has given rise to a whole new generation of e-panhandlers. Guys kinda smart really, beats sitting on a corner somewhere in the cold wearing ratty ass clothes waiting for someone to throw spare change in your cup....
