I'm 5'9" 165 lbs and I just snapped my Techn9ne deck which was a Goon town 153(def a sick deck). Lookin at the Banana decks, but need somethin that can handle them big boy jumps(75'+ if I do so get the itch) but still playful enough for rails and what not. Would the Skate banana 152 be a good enough deck for jumpin because I'm sure it's playful enough for my likes or should I step it up to the 156??? I do hear that you can size down with the reverse cambers but not sure???

Nah, the banana is a flaming sketchy turd on big jumps. From mervin I like the TRS BTX and the GNU Riders Choice. Check out Never Summer too. The SL is perfect for that.
In any instance, don't go shorter than 155 at your weight. Anything smaller will lack the stability you would need to not kill yourself. |
