board dilemma

hey guys im 5'7" 175lbs size 11small footprint though. consider myself an intermediate boarder. live on the west coast so im usually at mt. high, mammoth, and tahoe. im never really in the park, ill hit some kickers if they happen to be in front of me and some simple boxes but thats about it. im going to be running the Flux titans or super titans, but i cant decide on a board. help please!!! my choices are:

NS SL-R 151 or 155
NS EVO-R 151 or 155
GNU Riders Choice 154.5
GNU Park Pickle 156

from ur suggestion i say,

1. SL-R 155
2. Rider's choice but NEXT year's model. (next year's model is C2 i believe. but double check)
3. Evo-R 155 but I really think the evo will be too narrow for you
4. Pickle would be my last choice.

they called it vario grip. If I explain it in terms of Magnetraction, vario would have something like a 4 point contact.

Vario won't grip the ice as well... but the ice would have to be blue to give me trouble. But you really shouldn't be "ice" boarding unless you want to ice skate.

I would not worry about the difference between vario and Magnetraction though.

But the current year's model of NS compare to mervin's banana (both rider's choice and banana of course) ride very differently. I would choose base on the which board feels better for you and not how it'll handle on ice.

based on those suggestions id choose the SLR 155
if you plan to be bomming down runs at high speeds id even consider a 158 SLR given your weight

i have a pickle, but unless you're gonna be spending a lot of time in the park and/or doing flatland tricks and butters, its not going to be the best out of those four.

if you want a board that's fun, evo is FUN. that's what i usually ride and i love it. it will rip up Mt. high. I also ride the SL-R. its not quite as fun but more stable and its more of a cruise.

okay, Evo is like a porch 911 and SL is like Audi A6 HAHAHAHAHA

trust me when i say this.... you say you won't be going very fast. Sure. I said that once. Until i got a NS board
