Retail, Magics are in the $700 range.
That board is very light and a little less stiffer than the Custom X. It is in the top 3 most fun boards that I demoed out of the 2011 line-up. I demoed 32 boards to give you an example of how much I like this board. In my honest opinion, Skate Banana is overrated. I found other boards that were much better than the skate banana. For example, the Custom or Machete. The Nana is fun, but it just lacks that extra oomph that boards in that range have. If your friend can afford the Magic, he should get that. If he is only doing park and no pipe/freeriding, then he should pick up the Ride Machete or Burton Custom V |

we both like lib/gnu a lot...magnetraction doesnt hurt either haha.
ill mention the machete to him, but are there any other lib/gnu boards you'd recommend aside from the skate banana? looking for something pretty flexy. i have a park pickle, which is a 6 flex i think - he wants something the same or even more flexible. |
