Steep and Cheap and Sisters Guide?

Hey guys,

I just started snowboarding this season and looking to buy my first setup, but I'm not in any hurry, I'll probably rent for the rest of this season.
I'm thinking of holding out for a good deal for board/bindings on a steep and cheap "type" site via www.gearscan.com; and buying boots in person to ensure comfort.

With that said, I've never used a SAC site before, is there anything I should know in advance? It's also worth noting that I'm from Canada. (Calgary)

Any information is appreciated, even if it's just a link to another thread =)

I've ordered stuff from SAC before and everything always arrives in great condition and in a timely matter.

Yeah, being Canadian your screwed for at least half the good brands out there. I only really check dogfunk out for 686 now. Too many brands don`t get shipped out of the states.

Dogfunk.com Help Center

Heres the list.
