Okay, I'm around 180lbs and just ordered a 149. The weight specs say up to 165lbs. I'm 5'8" and want a little more control for spins and jibbing. Will I be okay with this size board? I don't wanna end up snapping it!

im not sure. im 5'10 160lbs and i ride a 153.
my friend is 6' 200lbs and rides a 153. he just found a big-ass crack in the middle, likely because he's too big for it. but i think it lasted him a couple seasons. i think you might be fine if you take it easy. |

That seems small to me, but it's still a lot about personal preference. I'm 180 and my groomer board is a 158. My wife is 115 pounds and rides a 144.
