Advice on length for tall jibber. - Snowboarding Forum

Hey guys,

I'm 6'4" and 165lbs. I'm currently riding a Arbor Westmark 159. It's a little stiff and feel a little like a boat. I'm interesting in possibly getting Arbor Draft (something more jib oriented) and I wonder if I'd be better off with the 158.5 or 155 option.

You could EASILY jib a 155 or even as small as a 151 if you wanted to go super short

I've got a buddy slightly heavier then you that rocks a 151 Ultrafear and I weigh 175-200 depending, and my jibish stick is a 155 Horrorscope. My do it all stick is a 162

Thanks. 155 is much closer to my weight range than a 158.5 (for park use at least).

I ride the 158.5 draft. Its awesome. Sooo! much fun. I'm 6'5 180lb.

Go with the 155. You will love it.

I contacted Arbor today and they said that I "SHOULD" be able to ride the Draft w/sz.12 boots depending on my stance. I ride a 15/15 but pretty wide so I might be a little past the Grip-tech contact point. I'm also not sure I want to mess around with those bronze edges.

Thinking I might go with a 156 Ride Crush instead... ugh, too many decisions. I will for sure go shorter than what I've been riding.

I have size 12 boots. I have salomon f20's so they are a smaller foot print and they fit perfect. I ride +12,-9.
