Going to Killington..

Hello everyone..Im planning a trip to killington,vt next month and I was wondering if anyone has ever riden there? And can tell me what trails I can take with my GF(who only likes green trails) that are somewhat leveled and long,so that I can ride with her while she keeps up?Thanks

god I hate okemo, except for the trail upper fall limit (which is their hardest) It's so crowded full of crappy *burton kids*- kids who have no idea about how to board but crowd the trails and sit right under rollers for you to run into-

But if you like tacky people, high prices, and actually a reall good park, then go there.

It's also has some really easy trails for ur gf I guess

Yup. Killington is the wrong mt to go to. Okemo,Stratton or Gore would be ok.
I've been to Stratton and Okemo already this yr. Trails are in good shape. Of course I was at each mt on a Friday before it was ski'd off.

killington isnt the wrong mountain. there are trails such as white heat (dont do it with her) that make killington famous, but there are other easy trails near the base or on a couple of the easier hills. but stay away from bear and you should be all set.

I was just up there and honestly I wouldn't take your gf there if she isn't good. There are a lot of people on the easier slopes that make it even more difficult than some of the challenging slopes. I'd suggest you take her to Pico which is down the road and owned by Killington but more "family" oriented. It is a mellow mountain with like 40 something runs and costs $50 a day which is by far the best deal on the east coast. It's like a mini okemo with much less people on it.

I'm telling you Laz hit up Pico that's the way to go for you and your girl. I actually had more fun the day we did there than I did at Killington
