Skate Banana's true contact length?
I measured the 156 (spec CL = 117).
Skate Banana Lib Tech Snowboards
But what I get is 112.
The way I measured it was that I pressed the board down on the floor. The "contact point" I used was:
The point where the edge starts to turn upward...
which I took to be where the edge is practically paralel with the floor because the rocker sort of makes a camber from middle to end.
I noticed that the sidewall is black (vs. colorful) at the tips and tails. Black to Black measures 117. But when you lay the board on the floor, that black area is already off the ground.
Does anyone else have this board and can measure it to see?
Is Lib Tech publishing this "longer spec" because according to them, the rocker "rides longer"...and this is "equivalent length compared to a cambered board" or something like that?
EDIT: I also measured the Widest to Widest point of the board and it's 120. So I'm not sure that the 117 is supposed to be?
