I started out on a K2 Fuse (identical to the Brigade, but different top/bottom sheets). Good, well made board. It's a three stage rocker tat's predominantly flat, and only raises at the very ends. This makes it pretty forgiving when you're still working on our turns. I would say mid-soft flex overall. The Brigade is essentially the same as the Anagram, but with a setback stance to make it more directional. It's a good place to start for a novice to advancing beginner/intermediate all mountain board, but you will eventually outgrow it.
