Does the Capita Sierra Scope 156 run wide @ 255? - Snowboarding Forum

Hey guys,

I'm interested in picking up a 156 Capita Sierrascope, but I ride mid-wide boards w/size 12 boots. I looked up the specs and found that the Sierrascope has a 255mm waist. Correct me if I'm wrong, but at that length doesn't it technically classify it as a mid-wide? I had crossed this board off as being too narrow up until now.

Will this fly w/a -15/+15 and a 24" stance?

It doesn't matter what companies classify their boards sizes as. You'll be fine unless you ride a very narrow canteen stance. I've stuffed 13s on a 152 capita stairmaster wide with a 25.7ww... don't try to MJ boxes tho.
