I am thinking about getting another board with a feel of around 3 or 4 and i would be doing boxes, rails and big jumps with it. What would be a good board for that?

If you're doing bigger jumps, say 40ft +, stay away from anything rocker...it could be suicide. There are a billion boards out there.

my friends looking for a board like this, but something on the softer side. would a ride kink be too shoft?

Soft and big jumps usually don't go too well together.
