So I was going rez an overhang thread but I couldn't find one for just people to post in general... so my first board was a 151 clash... with no knowledge I set out onto the slope with said board and proceeded to make the most awesome toe drag related crashing montage ever.
So after buying a 157 wide, what did I do? bought a 151 seven.. because I have more knowledge right? meeehhh... anyways want your opinions I went in depth to try to not be a huge pain in the ass, thanks. sorry about the size of the pics, I'll resize as soon as I get home. heelside ![]() ![]() toeside ![]()

awesome lol.. the first time I went on said 151.. I was at -21/6 and ... hahah.. yeah that was too much.. when I took it back I told the lady I wanted a wide.. she was like "you can't do that" I was like bullcrap my toe has 2 in overhang on the back I can exchange.. so I walked away with the burton bullet instead of the clash after I chewed her ass and her manager's for like an hour..
Success! even if I was that uniformed asshole.. I could have walked out with a free air freshener and would've dropped it.

wait... they told you you couldnt have a wide? or you just got on their ass about them not recomending it for you?
both seem very unreasonable. if you know what you want, stick with your guns. that way in the end if you dont like it you can only blame yourself. and i find it hard to beleive any shop would deny selling you a product you wanted. btw, your overhang is fine. |
