Prior AMF/freeride - Snowboarding Forum

Anyone ridden either of these boards (the AMF or the mens freeride)? How do they compare with something like a never summer heritage or titan? I know they are handbuilt like the NS and tend to be heavy due to this. Although i believe the 2011 never summers will be much lighter than in previous years (correct me if im wrong). Also the prior's only have 1 year warranty so do they last? Thanks.

I've been riding a Prior 162 MFR this year. I am finding it quite a fast stick and very stable at high speed. It is light and fairly stiff. It carves very well and rides crud pretty well.

It can be had in lengths up to 172 or so, off the shelf. Mine is "normal" length for my weight -- I am close to 200 lbs -- and if I wanted to go fast I could go longer on this board. If you're into that sort of thing, they can put reverse or hybrid camber on them. Mine is normal which is what I am used to riding.

I have barely a season on my MFR and as far as I can tell it is lasting alright.
