Wait a minute, isn't it supposed to be winter/snowing there when it's hot and disgusting over here?

Yeah our seasons are the opposite to you lot. Just going into Autumn now. The Southern Alps down the South Island were meant to be getting some snow today.

We don't have the luxury of an indoor snow park. Apparently two are going to come out one in LA and the other I don't know but it's not going to be open this year..
Really? there is one being built in LA? does anyone know when that is supposed to be open?

The park does look a little small, but the fact that I'd be able to board during the summer in a place not too far... well, that's just awesome.

That looks sweet! Its looks quite a bit bigger than my local indoor slope. Talking about crowds, at the beginning of Summer here, I took a day off work & went to Snowplanet - I was the only one on the snow. I had the place to myself for around half an hour. I was out-numbered by staff operating the lifts. I never thought that would ever happen, probably won't again either.

Agreed. I'm just glad it's a destination I can reasonably get to and that its not a revolving snow circle...
