How do they charge full speed on hard packed or groomed?

If you can answer what kind of board Damien Sanders rode in Snowboarders in Exile your response means more to me...

C2 is waaaayyy better than BTX. Having that little bit of camber at the tip and tail give added pressure when laying into, or even just sliding, a turn. It is a perfect mix of playful rocker and actual power in a turn.

I am 80% sure that Damien rode for the "up and coming/major brand" of Avalanche (where are they now??). I am 100% sure that whatever he rode, it didn't have C2BTX.

damn I wish everyone in the country... for the world in fact could come ride East Coast in North Carolina.... JUST TO SEE how bad we've got it compared to everyone else... Excluding the 2010 winter... we had an amazing year like I've never seen. I've been riding for 9 years now, and in those 9 years I've rode groomed up, icy ass mountains, time after time after time. I hear everyone complain about bad winters out west and shit... if an epic rider is produced out of the NC they would be unstoppable. I can't tell you how many friends I've had come to NC and board here with me, and not be able to ride it because of conditions, yet when I get out of the state and board I ride just as well as they can. I guess when you handle the worst you ride like the best. ? agreed?

Grew up in NJ...it is no better than NC. Riding the east teaches you how to actually ride on edge and not slide turns. Everyone I know from the east that goes out west can hold their own...in a strange way I have a fondess for ice..

yea me and you both in a creepy weird way haha. Come to think of it I have fun on ice alot... hurts like fuck if you catch a bad edge..... other than that I think it's just the challenge of it all... if you have a facebook add me on there- Jeremy DeWitt Winston Salem, NC. I've got some pictures of myself of what ice will do to your ass in the park. Don't fuck up a 3 on a bad day lmfao

Avalanche Kick 175 (I had the 165) with hard boots.

C2 BTX rocks...way better than the Kick. I have the T.Rice C2BTX and love it. Flys groomers and hardpack for sure.
