Anyone ridden the Head I.CT? Computer chip in a board?

I had never heard of this board until I saw it on Steep and Cheap today for $349 -- it retails for $768, but why? Turns out there is a computer chip in the board that actually stiffens the board based upon vibrations, so you can ride "insanely fast," as the marketing hype says. Anyone ever ride one of these? Looks super sweet, too, in a minimalist Apple iPod kinda way...pure white top, pure black base. I can't honestly say that I need anything faster than my NS Titan, but this thing sounds pretty sick. Is it, or is it just marketing bullshit?

Oh, and it supposedly has special binding inserts that allow you to adjust your binding position without having to remove the bindings. I'm kinda hoping SAC puts this board back up again. I might jump on it.

Never ridden it, but this sounds similar to what K2 did with the Electra board back in 1997, they put in 2 piezoelectric dampers in the board.

The binding inserts are what Captia did awhile back, and I think Forum still does.

$350 is a goddamn steal for that shit

basically, the chip "senses" vibrations and immediately stiffens up a bunch of fibers which increases stability

THERE ARE SPECIFIC REASONS AS TO WHY I AM MORE LOCAL THAN YOU
