Hey Guys,
I've been snowboarding for about 5 years and I've never had the chance to buy a board for myself. I always got hand-me-downs from my brother and now I have the opportunity to actually a buy a nice board for myself. I mostly do freeride and I do a little park and I hope to pick up more on the park this year. I'm looking at the Forum Destroyer PM and I was wondering if anyone can tell me whether or not that board is good for what I like to do... and whether or not I'll run into any difficulties... the link for the board is right here: FORUM SNOWBOARDS 2008

In short, no, this is not a good board for you. The reaaon is that it is a pure freestyle deck. If your doing mostlly freeride, with only a little park riding, you may want to consider a deck that is a directional-twin as opposed to a true twin / pure freestyle. However, if you are going to be spending most of your time in the park, the destroyer is good to go.

I don't have any experience with the destroyer. However I just bought a ROME Anthem and do the same type riding you do. Look around here and you'll see that the Anthem is very highly recommended. However I have heard good things about the Destroyer as well.
