Demo other boards before you go buying a dam Lib and get back with us.
Of course whoever is sponsored by Lib is gonna say they have the best shit ever.... He's not on a Lib because he thinks it's the best, he's on it because they offered him the most cash to ride it! Not rocket science |

Totally unbiased opinion here.
I demoed 2011 Lib Techs. I have never owned one and this year was my first time on them. I was unimpressed with the Skate Banana and GNU Park Pickle. However, I was very impressed with the Banana Magic. I am an all-mountain freestyle rider. The Magic was sick! Light and stiff board with the excellent BTX tech. I would take this board over a Burton Custom X any day of the week. And that is saying a lot because the Custom X is a damn good board that I have always been a fan of. The edge transition on the Magic is effortless. I had so much control on this board. The torsional flex was spot on during turns and edge hold was great for a rockered board. The Magic was also super stable on icey steeps thanks to the combination of stiffness and magnetraction. It was not the poppiest board I've been on, but by no means was it a slacker. I had so much fun just shredding everything in sight on this board. The only thing that keeps me from owning one is the price. It isn't cheap. If you catch this baby on sale, it is more than worth the investment. Did I mention that this board was light? The skate banana felt super heavy after riding the Magic. |
