Default Board Size Question - NS Evo-R

I'm considering getting a new snowboard for next season and I've been looking at the NeverSummer Evo-R in a 148 for park use. My only concern is whether the waist being 24.1 is too narrow for me. I wear size 9 boots. What's the waist range for someone my size?

Also, what bindings would go well with this board? I was thinking Burton Cartel or Rome 390.

I got a 151, wear a size 8 and have no problems. Even thou the 148 is .2 inchs shorter I don't think it'll make a difference. I rock it with some Flow NXT-FSE and love em but flows are love or hate.

I don't know. I wear size 9.5 Salomon F20s which are as low volume as any boot out there and I've damn near drug the bottoms off of my Flux Titan toe caps on a 158 Evo. It's only 1.2cm wider than the 148.

You mounting your bindings dead center of the board? Cause unless you are it's not going to matter.

So even though the waist is so narrow, it's only at the very center and I should be okay?

What about bindings? What is a good LIGHT binding? I have Flow's right now on a Sierra RC and they feel like bricks. Looking for something much lighter for all mountain that will hold up in th park.

I don't want to hijack your thread, but I've been wanting to ask a similar question, but didn't think it deserved its own thread.

Would a lib-tech Trice C2 BTX or a Dark Series C2 BTX be wide enough for a size 15 boot?

The Evo is a great choice. You will love that board! As far as bindings...I would look into next years Rome 390 boss!

What's the difference between the 390 and 390 Boss?
