Default New to boards, looking for a good one

Hey guys, first of all, let me start off saying I am a decent at best rider, I can carve well, ride a tiny bit of switch, hit small ramps, and small rails without falling. I wouldnt consider myself advanced in the least.

I actually went today at Ski Dubai, there was two pretty decent runs and I had alot of fun. But, I've always rented. I rented an Atomic 155 and it felt good as far as control goes, the 160 felt a bit big.

I've been a wakeboarder the past 10 years and could tell you ALL about that gear, but when it comes to snowboards, not a clue what to get. I want to get my own decent board, as I'm planning two one week ski trips next season.

I'm 6'0, 175 lbs.

What would be a good intermediate board, along with some bindings and Boots.

Any ideas for me? Thanks!

Are you from the middle east then?

Would be awesome if you would purchase a Never Summer Heritage or something else Never Summer

I would recommend getting something around 155ish in length if you're only going to be riding Dubai. They get like 6" of fresh mad made every day right?

No, I'm from florida, I'm just boarding in Dubai this week (on a trip with some friends)

I've been up to NH, MA, and Vermont to go snowboarding.

The Ski Dubai was sick. Fresh groomed powder all day, we all had a blast.

Ya I've watched shows on Ski Dubai. Did you get some pictures that you wouldn't mind posting?

I'm curious what it's all about

Fresh groomed powder? You don't groom powder. 155 is a good size for you are you just shredding the beast coast?
