07' SE7EN burton board

hey, just bought a 07' burton SE7EN board and i found out that it recommends to use a s/m binding on it. but i already picked up large burton mission bindings 08' and sz.11 burton hail 08' boots. what are your feelings on riding this set up? would i be able to ride this set up without having any issues? thanks.

chris

If you put the bindings on the board and the edge hang over the sides of the board, then you will probably have issues.
Worst case sell the board and find one with a large enough width to handle large bindings.

my bindings are centered and my gas pedals are on the second notch and it sits perfectly centered no overhang or anything. but when i put my boot in you can see that my heel and toe are sticking out. but i don't think they'll catch. what do you guys think. and im sick as a dog right now so i can't really go out to test and tweak.

Burton also has an adaptor plate called an elevator that will allow larger boot and binding combos to ride narrower boards. I have never used them as I wear size 8.5 boots, but I have seen them in the stores. Might be worth a shot if you have clearance problems.
