Gnu Street Series BTX
Hey guys I'm trying to find a new board for this winter and I just can't decide which one... :(
Right now I'm leaning towards Gnu Street Series BTX board. But before buying or doing anything I thought I'm gonna ask what do you guys think about that board? I'm looking for a board that would perform good in park ( This winter will be my second season and I'm looking to hit the parks as much as I can ) But still be able to carve down the mountain :) But yeah I'm open to other options too. It's just that I really dig the graphics on that board and i can get it for a decent prize ( 250 for 2010 version :)) Uhmm max I can put under a board right now is 350-370$ Any help is much appreciated! Here are some other boards I was looking at: Ride DH K2 Jibpan Capita Green Machine |
All the ones you mentioned are great boards. I ride a 2009 Gnu Street 157 - best board I've ever had for sure! I LOVE it!! (previous boards: Captia Horrorscope, Capita Indoor Survival, Burton G-Twin, Ride Control, Rome Agent) Not to say that those previous boards weren't good, but this one is just fuckin rad.
SO MUCH FUN to ride the Gnu Street! I don't care if they market it as a street board - to me this board is all mountain. SUPER SOFT (I compared it to my friend's 150cm Rome Artifact and that seems like a stiff plank compared to mine), easy maneuverability / playful, and the best part is that this board absolutely SLAYS the pow! I've never rode the K2 Jibpan but I'd really like to try it out. I love my GNU Street. |
Lean all the way towards it and buy it. You will be stoked.
