He bought it already, he's just curious about the board.
@Grubius, I'm not going to be able to help much, but to clarify because I was confused, are you curious as to whether you could use that on the slopes well or...? |

I have used it a few times an it seems ok to me, as a noob though that is
![]() I was just after basic info if anyone knew, like price when it came out, specs if poss, what its made from an such, whether it was a from a line of boards or a 1 off, whether it was deemed as a good board or just a piece of junk, i would like to know about it rather than just grab the latest season board an pose like most people, ( thanx for your comment Lstarrasl ). |

If it performs well enough for your needs, then all of the other information is just trivial. Why upgrade to a brand new board if you don't feel the need to?
You could just buy a new board to start a quiver and still ride your old one. |

Hehe that's exactly my point Leo i don't want to go and get a new board hence the fact i wanna know more about this one.
I know it may seem trivial but i like to understand the history of things i use, i also sent a message to Nidecker, just waiting for a reply. Maybe i can put any info i get back up here in case anyone else has a similar board. A friend said the cut part at the back means its just for slope and not park etc, is this right? |

Straight tail tips generally denote directional, free-ride usage. So technically, it wasn't built for freestyle. Doesn't necessarily mean you can't do park with it. You'll just have a harder time jibbing with it.
There really is no functionality for a straight tip. The upcoming 2011 Burton Ration even gives you the option to cut your own tip and tail shape. Now, if you have a swallow tail snowboard, that is a different story. The upside down V-Cut in swallow tips give you better control for turns in powder. |
