Ideas on my next gear purchase?? - Snowboarding Forum

Total newb here
Been riding on Rossignol Sultan for the last 4 seasons and it looks like i need to buy new gear as my current gear is slowly falling apart. I bough the combo (board, boots, bindings) for $399 4 years ago.

I need a good board, prefer technine bindings and boots. My budget is $350 for board, $150 for bindings and $150 for boots. I need WIDE 164cm+ board as i'm 6"4. I know nothing about brands and the type of gear on the market.

Any recomemndations?

Go to your local store and fit on as many boots as possible and see which one feels most comfortable.

You're 6inches and 4 centimeters tall???

Just kidding. 6'4 tells us nothing. What's your weight and boot size? It is very possible that you only think you need a 164+ wide board.
