Need Advice about board repair?

I recently bought my first board a little bit ago from Dogfunk.com: Snowboarding Clothing and Gear from Burton, Volcom, DC Shoe Co., RVCA, Nixon, Oakley, Vans, Reef, DAKINE, and Forumand i got it, everything was good except i noticed a very small space in the metal edge on the tail of the board i will try to get a picture of the crack/space in the edge soon but i was wondering if this was normal..or if their was a way to get it repaired? or if i should just send it back all together thanks!

if it is the the joint where the two ends of the edge material meet then its normal.

how big is the gap of the joint where the metal edges meet usually?

I can stick my finger nail in all of mine but I don't have an exact distance for you

Post a pic if you're thinking it's to large

yea a pic would really help us assess the severity

unless it's anything more than that minuscule gap i'm with everyone else. it's normal, where the two edges meet.
