Buying my first board this year, after riding a rental for a few seasons.
And of course this has been asked before, what size do I need it looks like between 151-158 for me. My girlfriend thinks I should get a 158 but I think 155 although I like the look of the 158 better because its green instead of red. so I thought I would ask, I'm still a beginner and am not very good that's one of the reason's why im getting the clash.....So help me out! Is a shorter board easier to learn on or a longer board? Weight-160=165 Boot size 8.5 Riding style- Beginner Age- 20 Your location of riding- tahoe |

First off let me say I'm just a beginner. But I'll share my little bit of experience on the subject.
I only used a rental board for my first lesson, after that I went out and bought my whole setup. My rental board was a camber 154 Head I believe. Then I went out and bought a 162 rocker board (Lib Tech) TRS which is what I pretty much learned on, and still ride. I think it's all personal preference while we're just beginners. Weight: 157 lbs. How much riding are you planning on doing? The Burton Clash is a beginner board and you will outgrow it very quickly skill-wise. If you are getting a good price then by all means buy it but there are probably better boards out there for the same money.
