Default What combination for board and binding?

Hi,

well its that time again that a New board and binding is needed.
I was thinking about getting the 2007 Nitro Revolt with the Raiden Striker binding.
But then I came across the Rome Snowboards which I would like to know how they are compared to the Nitro/Raiden products?
How do they ride and are there products are better quality which board would fit me?

I am more a all terrain and Mountain guy.
Also I have a 10.5 Burton boot would there be issues mixing that boot with a Rome binding?

Thanks a bunch!

I could get a last years Nitro Revolt with the Striker Binding cheaper then a New Rome Solution with 390 Binding.

Is the ROnme worth its Money. Never tried Rome Equipment.

Thanks

yes, almost everyone here will tell you rome is worth the money.

everyone that has ridden the 390s are stuck on them and pretty much dont ride anything else.

i've never ridden nitro or rome but both make decent boards.

I have a Rome Flag board, Ride Bindings and Nitro MFM boots... the boots are the tits and I was very close to buying the Targas for my flag but after riding them I decided to go anotehr direction. They are absolutely awesome bindings but I just want to go a different way for my $ this time. They are too similar to the Ride SPi's that I have now so I'm being picky!

I have also owned a couple of Nitro boards in my day though not in a number of years and I can say their equipment is very, very good. I was going to demo a pair of the Raiden Eettalia bindings but they didn't have my size in stock. From holding and looking at them though they appear to be super fresh. Very lightweight, the straps are padded nicely etc.

You won't go wrong with either set up and as much as I love Rome if you can save the $ I say go for that...

ok, burton boxer's obtained, and they fit perfectly in my rome 390s. i'd say go for romes if you can afford them, and you'll be very happy.
