I'm 6ft 2"
190 lbs Size 10 boot Regular stance Intermediate level I currently own an all mountain freeride board 169cm which i bought when i was much heavier. I've just started riding in the park and really getting into jumps and spins etc. but don't much like rails. I'm finding the big stiff board hard to spin and reckon i must need a smaller freestyle type board. Any suggestions? I'm looking to spend a max of £250 ($450) What size should I aim for, for a freestyle board? Thanks |

I would aim for a board in the range from 158-162 depending on the board. Its kind of hard to recommend a board because it's really so individual. Ride makes some good boards the Machete is always a good place to start looking there. You could also take a look at NeverSummers SL-R i have heard great things about that too. There is also always some Burton stuff you could look at as well, I don't know much about there line as the only board i had from them was the first one i got which was a beginner board. Just look around most sites have a board finder or something similar to get you started.
