Great board for all around riding. If you can find it cheap, you won't be dissatisfied.

Yea, nothing special stood out about the Parkstar for me either. I wouldn't be opposed to picking one up if I found one for dirt cheap. I preferred the Darkstar with it's zero camber. However, I am not a jibber so someone else would have to chime in on that aspect.

I've ridden the whole K2 line this is my theory on the parkstar after riding the new Fastplant. The Parkstar replaces the Jibpan (sickest board they ever made fyi) with that spring and pop you expect from a board that has carbon and fiberglass in it and isn't full of Bamboo like the Fastplant. It's also a cross over for the guy that was sick of camber and wanted to go rocker while the Darkstar with zero camber is there for the rider that needs to dip his toe in to see how he feels about alternate camber.

Because someone has to call it how they see it!

Good shit. That description fit me very well. This was my first year on rocker boards.

Picked lasts years model up for $365. Hate the k2 bindings that came with it!!! The ratchet ones. Was looking at the new flow bindings.

Wow, you picked up a parkstar WITH bindings for $365? Depending on the bindings, that's a great deal!!

the board does everything pretty well but nothing outstanding
it is just solid all around so if you only have like 1 board, it will make you smile
but if you are those that will have many in your quiver, then parkstar will not stand out and fade into the back

everyone here is buckin' the k2 parkstar is SICK. best board ive ever been on and ive demoed around 50+ boardsd. parkstar definitely sticks out

you want to go to the park and jib around? well the parkstar has plenty of pop and flex to butter all day around the park

you want to hit the peak? sure it is a soft board but its no noodle. its stiffer then the WWW so you can hit the slopes. this board FLIES its fast for a freestyle board. you want an amazing all around board you make a great choice with the parkstar
