Heard Volcom was gonna be comming out with there own line of boards... Anyone got any info on this?

They have had their own branded boards for a couple years now, but only team riders and reps have them.
I don't know if they will ever go for public distribution with them.

I have no idea if that is true.
I talked to the Norcal Volcom rep earlier this season, and he had just gotten his branded deck, so if they will be publicly distributed and made by Mervin, I'd assume it's atleast another year or two out before they jump into the market.

They're made by signal and essentially just the O.G. with a Volcom graphic.

I assume at some point they make them publicly available.. as someone else said right now they are just team/company boards ....

Having them plastered all over the place w/o making them publicly available just helps build the hype machine (like this thread) so when/if they decide to release some they will have a bunch of folks already interested

My buddy has one... and it deffantly mirrors a mervin style board... who knows??? I know i dont thats why i asked lol

Unless Volcom comes out with something "new" or is attempting to capture a niche market, what would be the point of them coming out with a line of boards? Just asking the question, is all.
