How to repair wavy edge damage.

Hi all,

Do boards naturally detune themselves after a few days of riding? I rode my new Rome Anthem hard for two days last week without detuning them and I realise that the edges on the tip and tail sections really burred up and became rough. It dosent feel as smooth as the middle sections of the board when I run my fingers through it. I did not do any jibbing and was just freeriding on both days.

And also I tried to repair one of the blunt edges on the tip of the board. I tried using files and diamond stones on the side edge and base edge with a guide but it still feels rough when I run my finger over it even after doing a few passes. Upon closer inspection it looks like it is wavy right at the tip of the edge (so the edge is at right angles at the tip but just wavy, kind of like a serrated knife)

Will these kind of egde shape affect the edge hold of the board? And how do I get rid of this serrated shape and bring it back to its smoothness again

Many Thanks

Yeah just like a knife, they can get dull. Take it to a snowboard shop and have them sharpen your edges.
