east coast board? - Snowboarding Forum

So I need to get a board and I'm trying to stay under 400. My home resorts is on the east coast and is pretty small so the main use would be small jumps, rails, jibbing etc.. so I was wondering what 2011 board(s) would be best for just messin around and a yearly trip to bigger resorts. I was kinda thinking the ns circuit, horroscope fk but im open to new ideas.

If you get the chance and want to go for something new, see if you can demo a blaksheep snowboard (blaksheepsnowboards.com). From talking with some of the guys who work there it sounds like it might fulfill what you're looking for.

ns is good. i would also like to recommend some of the rome boards for this season too, but i don't know if you can find them under 400

the capita horrorscope FK forsure...maybe consider the Rome Artifact, they also gna have a artifact rocker version this year, no reviews yet...

LTshred, the artifact 1985 is not new this year. it is a very sexy board.

Yeah, I've been trying to get a custom design on a board and they had a spot on their website for it and we started talking. Seems like a pretty cool guy, can't say much other than what he's told me about the boards but I'd love to try one out.

so long story short I got a better price on my bindings and boots and can probably look at boards under 500 now. I was kinda thinking the ns evo or the lib tech skate banana

I have a 2011 evo 155 for sale for 400 bucks. That board beats the skate banana hands down.
