banana magic---better materials, more money, a little stiffer board.

The Skate banana is a softer and is more of a park board that also does powder really well. The Banana Magic is a higher end and stiffer board that is more oriented toward freestyle powder riding but can also handle its own in the park.

Freestyle powder riding?

The Banana Magic is a stiffer board. It is geared towards all-mountain freestyle. This board is not a jibstick that's for sure. If you are a park rat, get the Skate. If you shred all over the mountain, launch off kickers, bounce off walls of snow, and just bomb, then get the Magic.

I'm an all-mountain freestyle rider. I really liked the Skate... until I got on the Magic. Made the Skate look like a Lamar. If you style is like mine and you have deep pockets, get the Magic hands down.

Oh yea, and it does well in powder too.
