Default Newbie Looking for Size Help

I am new, and I have seen you all are helpful on board sizes

I plan to do mostly, if not all mountain

5'11" 165 lbs. size 9.5 boot

Any Recommendations?

I have a chance at a Salomon 159cm Board with Burton Mission Bindings - fairly cheap... - any thoughts?

Thanks

when i looked it up it said you should be looking for a 158, so that board should do good.

Depends on what year and how used the board is, if its cheap than buy it....

I would say 158 is a decent midrange for you. You can go up a few CM for free-ride, down several for freestyle. But once you do more boarding you will start to learn what you like and don't and what sort of sizes you want.

I might be late, but a 159 is long for your weight. Not that you can't ride it all-mountain, you'll just have a better time on a smaller board. I recommend a 156cm for you.
