Hey peeps
Need help on sizing tossing between 150 and 153... Height: 175cm (5'7 approx) Weight: 75-77kg (165-170 lbs) Boot size: US 9 Currently ride a 2009 Skate banana 151cm and looking for something softer so not sure whether to down size or up size? Rome doesn't have anything between 150/153 and Australia blows when it comes to demo days.. Focus: Park, Jib, Small jumps and butters (ground tricks) pretty much looking to progress in these areas. Any suggestions welcome... |

Get the 53 if you're hitting any jump over 20 feet.

I'm thinkin the same thing. If you plan on progressing jumps at all this season you will be much happier with the '53. Like if you plan on doing anything bigger than the baby park jumps on this board, the '53

Im goin to be the one to go against the flow. Im sayin the 150. 153 wouldnt be as easy to throw around as the 150 would be. Jibs and small jumps, you wont need much bigger. Like the rest said 153 for the biggerish jumps but if you want somethin for jumps too I'd recommend a different boared. Maybe say the garage rocker or the postermania. The artifact is superdy duper buttery. Get to the point, I think the artifact 150 would make you feel very delightful with them butters. Should be a crazy fun shred stick.

It rides smaller than it is too. The Garage Rocker is softer than the new Artifact they changed it up for this year.

Thanks for the heads up..
I was also thinking the 150 as well mainly for boxes and ground tricks (inspired by masters of ground video) along with small tiny jumps to practice on while lapping the park.. and I would switch to the SB for days I feel like doing bigger jumps what are your thoughts? Another question comes to mind though, would the 153 still be softer then my current 151 SB ? Keep the advice coming really appreciate it, sucks to not be able to try these boards out to find out for yourself... Last edited by krazibone; 08-25-2010 at 06:25 PM. |

Im not completely positive cause I've never ridin either, but my guess would be the Artifact would still be slightly softer becuase its a full rocker. The SB has rocker in the middle and its flat/Zero Camber under your feet, stiffining it up a lil bit. I bet someone on here knows better than my guess though.

SB is softer and more loose due to the center reverse camber.

I'm thinking of getting an artifact rocker too. Any sizing suggestions for someone 5'4, 135 lbs, shoe size 8? I'm leaning towards 144 for a park/jib board. I have an 09 Neversummer evo, size 148, but looking for a softer board.
