the fish has a really short tail allowing you to rotate the board with ease, compared to a stiff long board (old standard for pow boards). the pow slash is the best trick in snowboarding, and is what really separates it from skiing. They use terms like slarve? sliding-carve.
heres my how to: find a fluffy bank on your front side come in with lots of speed (speed is always your friend in pow) start with an aggressive carve at the apex (center) of your turn release your edge, weight the nose, and let the tail start to rotate (white room) hold this lip slide position as long as your momentum allows pull the nose up as you get the tail back under your body, a little edge will help look back and admire you work
