Hey guise,
Im in the market for a new board. This will be my first time buying. Ive been snowboarding about 10 times over the last 6 years and ive rented a board everytime. I pretty much know how to carve and i want to start learning how to hit the rails and jumps this year but i still want carve the mountain. Any recomendations on boards and size?? Ive been looking and two have caught my attention. The Nitro rook and the 2011 eero model. Would these board be good for me?? Here are my stats. weight - 200 - 215 height - 5' 10" boot sz - 10-11 location - AZ (will be snowboarding in flagstaff) Thanks!! |

It seriously sucks having to go to snowbowl. Probably the worst ski area in the country, short season and slush galore. I used to live in phoenix and that was pretty much the only option. Thank god I live in Colorado now!

Ya there is def a lot of slush mid day and afternoons there. I get there when it opens and usually leave by 1. Last season was a good one for snowbowl. They had over 25 feet which is unheard of for them. There was overcast/snow fall pretty much every weekend so no slush when ever i went. Hopefully its like that this year. **crosses fingers**
Thanks for the help guys |
