1 inch overhang?

I have size 10.5 boots and my board width is 24.4 cm waist. when i put my boots on the board, there is about an inch of overhang evenly on both sides. My bindings push the toe up a little. But would 1 inch of overhang really matter? I guess i could return it for a 155 with a 25.1 cm waist but i dont know if it really matters. So is 1 inch overhang fine?

You may be able to get by ok but any hardcore turns and you'll get toe or heel drag. With a size 10.5 boot your goin to want a board thats a 25.5-26.0 wasit width. Most board companies make a wide version of a few of their boards where you could still ride like a 153. Do some research with the search on here and google. That should help ya out a little bit too.

I also forgot to add that this board is for freestyle so no hardcore face to the ground turns.

Yeah you still may want a little wider of a board. If your comfortable on it though thats the biggest thing that matters. I would just suggest riding a wider board. I ride a wide K2 Parkstar and wear a size 10, the waist width on the board is 25.9.

yea i guess it wouldnt hurt to get a couple cm extra. Ill see about the wide which is just a 26 cm waist so its not that wide. Or ill get the 155 with a 25.1 waist. Might help with some stability with jumps too, thanks.
