Fair price for an 08/09 NS Heritage

I'm thinking about selling my 08/09 NS Heritage (last year of camber, not rockered) to a buddy to help finance the purchase of a splitboard.

Functionally it's a 9/10. The edges and base are just about perfect.
Cosmetically, I'd give it a 7/10. A few minor scratches and then one significant scuff on the nose from a dumbass in the lift line.

I just want to settle on a fair price for the both of us.

I was thinking $200?

I have to say I do not know that I would personally buy it for that much, but since we are in Colorado used gear is pretty easy to come by. My general rule of thumb is 50% or lower for last year's gear. I know I didn't really address the question head on, but just my 2 cents. I am sure you can get someone, somewhere to pay that for it.

That doesn't work at all. There are lots of factors involved like brand, model, tech, size, condition, etc... That said, especially because it's your buddy, I would say $100 is pretty fair.

Yeah, I want to give him a good price, but at the same time, I'm not giving it away. The only reason I'd be selling it would be to help finance a splitboard. I wouldn't part with it for $100.

I think 200`s solid for both parties, heck if he was not a friend i`d say 225-250. In good condition with only scratches that`s pretty solid. But Colorado`s selling and trading might be different. I can only imagine there`s like 2000 or more boards getting sold on craigs list every season end there.

But 2 seems good for both you and him I think.

Yeah, that's the thing, I know I could get $225-250 through CL. The Heritage is highly sought after in CO being the "Colorado board" in NS's line up. I'd just rather it go to a buddy than some random. If I sell it to a buddy, I'll still be able to hop on it occasionally!

I'd say that's fair if bindings are included. I personally wouldn't pay that much for just a used board.

If your ok with $200, he should be. I don't think either one is really being taken advantage of considering he's a friend.
